Kinkell Community

What would you do with a few acres…?

Enabling people to Reconnect with Nature is critical to ensuring a healthy and thriving planet

Rewilding Kinkell is making a few acres of land available to the community to be used in whatever way they decide for the benefit of People and for the benefit of Nature

If YOU would like to help decide how this land is used or would like to use it yourself then get in touch to join the Kinkell Community steering group

There are many potential ways the land could be used…

Connect with Nature?

Forage?

Grow?

Learn?

A Space for Families?

Permaculture?

Wellbeing?

Forest School?

The site is 2 miles outside St Andrews on the coastal road (A917). It is on the proposed Crail-St Andrews bike path. It is former arable farmland with a small existing woodland and some recent tree and hedgerow planting. There is a small polytunnel onsite. Since 2021, the land has been part of the Rewilding Kinkell project to increase biodiversity and combat climate change. The site is nearby, but seperate from, Kinkell Byre, a busy and growing wedding and events venue and accommodation business. We are looking for up to 9 people to lead the Steering Group.
