Our multi-functional & adaptable venue hire can seat 450 or more with an adjoining sea-view marquee. Exclusive use of our grounds and venue is available to all clients and our professional, experienced team are always willing to go the extra mile to create a unique Scottish experience for your guests.
We are next door to and work closely with the award winning 5* Fairmont St Andrews Hotel, with 211-bedrooms, two golf courses, a spa and a fine dining banqueting team who can cater for your event here at Kinkell Byre.

Blown Away
Catch a wave at St Andrews’ famous West Sands with team water sports including surfing and kayaking for an offsite activity before heading up to the Byre. The Blown Away team also have an amazing crazy golf to entertain your guests that fits in our raised area perfectly.
Kingsbarns Distillery
Get to know the malt from the mash and the botanicals from the base with local whisky and gin tasting. The Kingsbarns team can set up in the Byre for the drinks reception or for the whole evening to keep your guests entertained. You can also head up to the distillery as part of your event and do a tour or have a lunch or dinner in their intimate dining space .

We have a range of recommended suppliers that you can choose from to cater the event, whether it’s a light lunch or a 5 course dinner. Our network of outstanding local caterers can work with a variety of budgets and accommodate any requirements. They’re able to help source everything required for a perfect service – from caterhire and tableware to wait staff.
Kinkell Bars
Our team from Kinkell Bars will be on hand to serve guests a wide range of drinks from their rustic wooden clad bar and have a late licence of 1am
We can order and store wine and fizz for the reception drinks and for dinner for you to make the whole process easier
Student Events
We have hosted a number of student events at Kinkell Byre for over 20 years now!
We can accommodate up to 450 for dinner and up to 1,200 standing! You can also add on a marquee for up to 2200 guests.
We can do a variety of events including large balls, dinners, ceilidhs and sporting nights.
Entertainment
From pipers to greet your guests to DJs to see out the end of the night – you can do it all at Kinkell Byre
To give a real Scottish welcome, we can recommend a few great pipers to welcome your guests and who can also pipe everyone into dinner
You can have acoustic musicians to play through drinks reception and dinner and we also have speakers that you can play music from with a playlist of your choice
We work closely with several bands, who can do covers or ceilidh or a DJ to get the party going!
