Most popular service style
We are renowned for our diverse offerings, ranging from street food, BBQs, and hog roasts to beautifully crafted plated meals that highlight the finest Scottish produce. With a flexible and adaptable approach, we are happy to create bespoke menus and services tailored to each client or couple.
Tell us a little bit about each of your services; street food, bbq, etc! Can you also pop in each section how many guest numbers work best for each service/ couples style suit each service?
For example, a street food-style dining experience is perfect for couples looking for a more relaxed and interactive meal. This setup works well for guest numbers ranging from 50 to 200. We create three different food stations, each featuring cuisine from a different part of the world, allowing guests to explore and enjoy a variety of flavors throughout the evening.
Kinkell is an excellent venue for large student events, and we have had the pleasure of catering the Bute Ball multiple times for over 500 guests. Serving a traditional Scottish feast of soup, roast beef, and sticky toffee pudding, we provided a seamless dining experience—serving everyone in just 1 hour and 45 minutes. This efficient service ensured guests had plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the evening, filled with dancing and drinks.
We also offer a fantastic family-style sharing menu, perfect for large weddings. The experience begins with antipasti sharing boards featuring cured meats and seared Mediterranean vegetables, placed at the center of each table. For the main course, we serve hearty bowls of potatoes and vegetables alongside wooden boards of roasted beef, Yorkshire puddings, and rich beef gravy. Adding a fun and interactive touch, one chosen guest at each table dons an apron and chef’s hat to carve the meat. The meal concludes with generous sharing desserts, creating a lively and engaging dining experience that brings guests together.

embrace the challenges that come with catering in unique and remote locations!
We cater across Scotland and the North of England, including the islands! One memorable event took us to the Isle of Islay, where relentless rain had soaked the ground for days. The wedding, held in a marquee on a private farm, presented quite a challenge. To get our equipment on-site, we had to transport everything by tractor, and when it came to time for service, we did it in our aprons and wellies to ensure the meal was delivered seamlessly. It was an unforgettable experience and a testament to our dedication, no matter what the conditions!
We once catered for a wedding on the Isle of Barra and ended up with an unexpected adventure when the ferry was canceled, leaving us stranded for a few days. It was certainly a memorable experience, and we always embrace the challenges that come with catering in unique and remote locations!
