Season Catering are one of our newest recommended caterers at Kinkell Byre. They have catered many weddings here and are so versatile when it comes to their offerings! Their staff are wonderful and we love having them at Kinkell!
Aaron, the owner of Season Catering has kindly answered a few questions about the business and how you can book them!

Tell us a little about yourself?
Chef, owner and operator Aaron Hartman. I am Kiwi born with over 30 years experience in restaurants and catering from Australia to Argentina, United States, London and of course, Scotland.
What is the story behind Season Catering?
After working in restaurants for years and at times working 100 hours per week, myself and my wife had children and that then changed everything.
Being self employed allows us the flexibility to work varied hours and spend more time at home with the family. In theory, not always the case as we now complete over 80 weddings a year, have a large corporate portfolio and also a private chef to high net worth individuals.
We also have our venue in Leith Edinburgh which is used for weddings/events/private hire and also a production kitchen. This is also where all of our tastings for Season Catering clients are completed.

What is the “favourite” dish?
I don’t have one – it is all about the moment, the day and the occasion – that is where the best dish is found . If I was in the Alps on a snowy night then of course I would want a local stew and dumplings !!!
